A 7-night adventure to majestic Thailand with Mic the Vegan! The adventure includes vegan meals from pickup to drop-off, in-country transport, a vegan food tour around Chiang Mai, an elephant sanctuary, hot springs, and 2 nights of relaxation in the mountain gem of Pai.

– Meet up in Chiang Mai, Thailand for a food and cultural tours that includes the city’s must see sights before heading off the see the beautiful mountain town of Pai.

– Pickup and drop off will be from Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Flight is not included in the trip cost.

– We highly encourage carbon emission offsets for flights by a credible organization like TerraPass.

Day 1 – Jan 18th 

Overview: Half day with pickup by guide/driver from Chiang Mai airport, say hello, drive to hotel, eat included dinner meal. Chill or explore if you have the energy.

Airport Pickup:

The airport ride will be from the arrivals section of airport in Chiang Mai. The ride will be approximately 10 minutes to the hotel and will accommodate your arrival times.

Lunch:

Lunch is technically before the trip starts. Options here if you arrive early: Happy Cow Chiang Mai

Dinner:

Dinner is at a restaurant in Chiang Mai or includes boxed vegan meal at pickup if your flight is later than dinner.

Day 2 – Jan 19th

Overview: Get to know the city of Chiang Mai, see key historical sites, and eat vegan food.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast is included at the hotel and lunch and dinner will be provided by local restaurants.

Activities:

Roam around Chiang Mai to witness its ornate temples such as the beautiful, golden Wat Chiang Man and the ancient Wat Chedi Luang.

Soak in the cultural charm of local vendors and their goods as we walk between nearby sites and vegan food gems.

Optional yoga and massages to decompress at the resort.

Day 3 – Jan 20th

Overview: Hop on a bus to the elephant sanctuary!

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast will be included at the hotel, lunch on the sanctuary and dinner in in Chiang Mai.

Activities:

An all-day excursion to the Elephant Nature Park to witness the stunning and majestic elephants and a vegan lunch. This rescue operation and sanctuary is vegan-approved with minimized human-elephant interaction.

Park Mission: To protect and conserve elephants in a natural environment and to provide a healthy and fruitful life for all those creatures under our care.

Cool off with a stop at the ‘Sticky Waterfall’ which is a unique limestone formation that allows for a grippy climbing surface.

Day 4 – Jan 21st

Overview: Explore the surrounding landscape outside of Chiang Mai at Doi Inthanon National Park.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast is included at the hotel with lunch at the national park and dinner at local restaurants in Chiang Mai.

Activities:

Venture to the mountains outside of Chiang Mai to the highest rated national park in Northern Thailand, Doi Inthanon. The park is home to the highest mountain in Thailand, waterfalls, a cloud forest, and the beautiful Twin Royal Pagodas.

The park is also home to village tribes such as the Karen (I know) and Hmong who farm coffee and rice on the hillsides. Don’t forget your hiking shoes!

 Day 5 – Jan 22nd

Overview: Head to a nearby jungle adventure park.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast is included at the hotel and lunch and dinner will be provided by local restaurants.

Activities:

Hop on a bus and head to an adventure park with downhill go karting through the jungle.

“We will take you to the heart of the northern Thai jungle. Come and enjoy an exciting day full of ziplining fun. Our zipline course has 38 platforms, 21 ziplines, a 15-meter Abseil, 5 Sky-bridges, 6 Staircases, and a Giant Swing. The longest zipline is over 900 meters and will make you feel like a hawk flying over the dense jungle and valleys. And it is not only ziplining that Skyline offers. We will also go down the mountain on the only Luge Car track in Thailand! “

Day 6 – Jan 23rd

Overview: Head to the serene mountain town of Pai

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast is included at the hotel, lunch will be in Pai, and dinner will be a guided local food tour.

Activities:

Witness the breathtaking drive from Chiang Mai to Pai and and settle into the hotel before exploring the town.

Experience a guided vegan food tour with a variety of street food options, all hosted by local vegans.

Visit the Saturday night community market for handicrafts, clothing, and live music performances.

Day 7 – Jan 24th

Overview: Hit the mineral hot springs and enjoy the Pai countryside 

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Breakfast is included at the hotel and lunch and dinner will be provided by local restaurants.

Activities:

Take a quick scenic drive to Sai Ngam mineral hot springs which also known as the “Secret Hot Spring.” It features crystal clear water in three small, warm pools surrounded by jungle and shaded trees and a perfect opportunity to soak up the relaxation.

Witness a panoramic sunset at Pai Canyon which features narrow, winding dirt trails atop steep sandstone ridges with carved slopes of up to 50 meters on either side, offering unforgettable views of the surrounding jungle and valleys.

Goodbye dinner at a vegan restaurant.

Day 8 – Jan 25th

Overview: Head back to the airport…waaah 

Breakfast:

Included by the hotel restaurant.

Return to Airport:

Depart Pai and head back to Chiang Mai to the airport or to continue onward. An extra night in Chiang Mai can be arranged after the trip officially ends for extra relaxation.
