A 7-night blast to the ancient past with Mic the Vegan! The adventure includes vegan meals from pickup to drop-off, in-country transport, amazing ancient sites, a local vegan festival in Athens, a day trip to Nafplio, and 4 days of island hopping around Naxos and Paros.

– Meet up in Athens, Greece for a food and antiquity tours that includes the Acropolis and must see sights before heading off the see some beautiful islands.
– Pickup and drop off will be from Athens International Airport (ATH) in Athens, Greece. Flight is not included in the trip cost.
– We highly encourage carbon emission offsets for flights by a credible organization like TerraPass.

Activities Overview:

Day 1 -Oct 3rd
Overview: Half day with pickup by guide/driver from Athens (ATH) airport, say hello, drive to hotel, eat included dinner meal. Chill or explore if you have the energy.
Airport Pickup:
The airport ride will be from the arrivals section of airport in Athens. The ride will be approximately 0.5 hours to the hotel and will accommodate your arrival times.
Lunch:
Lunch is technically before the trip starts. Options here if you arrive early: Happy Cow Athens
Dinner:
Dinner is at a restaurant in Athens or includes boxed vegan meal at pickup if your flight is later than dinner.

Day 2 – Oct 4th
Overview: Get to know the city of Athens, see key historical sites, and eat vegan food.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:
Breakfast is included at the hotel and lunch and dinner will be provided by local restaurants.
Activities:
Roam around historical Athens with a trip to the Acropolis (meaning “highest point”) which includes the Parthenon, the Old Temple of Athena, and other buildings. Eat a delicious vegan lunch as a break between the sites such as the Acropolis Museum and stunning Greek streets.
Head over to the Vegan Life Festival for some local vegan vendors and optional workshops.

Day 3 – Oct 5th
Overview: Head on a day trip to the original Greek capitol, Nafplio.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

Activities:
Nafplio is a sun-drenched coastal gem where Venetian castles crown the cliffs, and winding alleyways burst with bougainvillea and whispers of ancient myths. From the fortress of Palamidi, gaze over sapphire waters that once carried legendary warriors, then lose yourself in the old town’s labyrinth of marble streets, where history and adventure intertwine at every turn.

Day 4 – Oct 6th
Overview: Hop on a boat and cruise from Athens to Paros.

Breakfast will be included at the hotel, lunch on the ferry, and dinner in Paros.
Activities:
The boat ride from Athens to Paros is a voyage through the Aegean’s ever-changing blues, where the salty wind tangles your hair and the sun glistens on endless waves. As the ferry weaves past rocky islets and distant Cycladic silhouettes, anticipation swells with each passing swell, carrying you toward an island where time slows and adventure awaits.

Day 5 – Oct 7th
Overview: Full day of exploration on the island of Paros

Activities:
Paros is a sun-kissed island where golden beaches meet labyrinthine whitewashed villages, their blue-domed chapels glowing beneath the Aegean sky. Wander its hidden coves and wind-carved coastline, where echoes of ancient sculptors and seafaring legends still dance with the salty breeze.
Hop on a small boat to explore the local coastal gems.

Day 6 – Oct 8th
Overview: Take the ferry from Paros to Naxos and settle into Naxos.

The short yet mesmerizing voyage from Paros to Naxos glides over a sapphire sea, where the wind hums against the ferry’s hull and seagulls dance in the salty breeze. Day 7 – Oct 9th
Overview: Full day on the island of Naxos.

Activities:
Naxos, Greece, is a wild and storied island where emerald valleys give way to golden beaches, and ancient temples whisper tales of gods and heroes. From the towering Portara, standing sentinel over the sea, to the labyrinthine streets of its old town, every path invites you to chase the echoes of myth and the thrill of untamed adventure.
Hop on a large boat for a group tour of the coastline, snorkeling, and swimming stops with caves and beaches.

Day 8 – Oct 10th
Overview: Head back to the airport…waaah
Breakfast:
Included by the hotel restaurant.
Return to Airport:
Take a quick flight from Naxos back to Athens and continue onward.
